Come and visit us…
The Heritage Centre has a range of research materials, changing displays and a souvenir and bookshop. We have volunteers on hand to try to answer any questions you may have, and if we don’t know the answer, we’ll point you in the direction of someone who might.
We are open: Tuesday 11am – 2pm and Saturday 10.30 –

Display Area
This area features changing displays with artefacts in cabinets and a selection of vintage wedding dresses, most worn in Stockport churches, from 1912 to the 1950s. The Trust has produced displays around the town for many years with themes including the History of St. Mary’s Church, the 1940s, 1960s and a Victorian shop window.
